Abrahamsohn Nets NCAA Independents Player of the Week

Indianapolis, Ind.- For the second consecutive week, a Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer player has garnered national honors by being named the NCAA Independents National Player of the Week for men’s soccer. After senior Matt Sweesy took home the honors last week, junior Daniel Abrahamsohn has earned the honor this week.

undefinedAs the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer team pushed their overall record to 9-3 with victories over the likes of Nova Southeastern University on the road, and a victory over Florida Southern College at home, junior forward Daniel Abrahamsohn registered the game winning goals in both PBA victories.

Now with nine goals on the season along with two assists, Abrahamsohn leads the Sailfish with 20 points in 12 games. A native of Pacifica, California, Abrahamsohn continues to lead the late-season charge by PBA as they look to gain an otherwise improbable bid to the NCAA regional with their recent string of solid play.
