Men's Soccer Squad Set to Make Run at NCCAA National Championship

Greenville, S.C.- The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced it’s annual eight team field for the 2007 men’s soccer national championships which will take place later this week. In perhaps their strongest season in recent memory, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer team earned the number two seed in the tournament.

After defeating the likes of Emmanuel College and North Greenville University to take home the NCCAA South Region championship last weekend, the Sailfish were granted an automatic bid to the National Championships which will take place in Kissimmee, Florida.

Now 13-4 on the season, PBA will open up play as the number two seed, taking on Central Baptist College who were crowned the Central Region Champions and were awarded the number seven seed. The opening match of the entire field, PBA and CBC will being their match at 12:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

Indiana Wesleyan University, the NCCAA Midwest Region champion, was named the number one overall seed.
