Men's Tennis Holds At No. 10 in NCAA South Region Rankings

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – For the third straight week Palm Beach Atlantic men’s tennis held their ground at No. 10 in the NCAA South Region Rankings. The South Region Tournament will feature eight teams with three automatic qualifiers and five at-large selections.
Palm Beach Atlantic is currently 12-8 on the season and is ranked No. 49 in the ITA Top-50 poll. The ‘Fish will enter the Sunshine State Conference Tournament on Thursday at the No. 6 seed and take on No. 3 seeded Lynn University.
The top two teams in the region remained the same from a week ago with West Florida holding down the top spot and Barry secure once again at No. 2. Saint Leo jumped from fifth to third after beating Lynn this past week. The Fighting Knights come in this week at No. 5 with Valdosta State sliding back a spot to No. 4.
Rollins flips places with Florida Southern in the sixth and eighth spots with North Alabama holding at No. 7. Lee is ranked No. 9 once again with PBA rounding out the top-10.
The ‘Fish will have to win this week in Bradenton at the SSC Tournament to have a shot at qualifying for the South Regional Tournament. PBA takes on Lynn on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the quarterfinals with the semifinals and finals to be held Friday and Saturday.
