Another Noah Johnson single scored freshman Blake Beyel in the inning, and Sean Visconti crushed a line drive off Shark starter Kyle Kilbourne’s leg, scoring Evan Dougherty and forcing Kilbourne out of the game.

Nova Southeastern added to their lead with two in the fourth, one in the fifth, and five in the sixth off the Sailfish bullpen. The ‘Fish were unable to cut into the Shark lead until the eighth, when they would score their final run of the night on an RBI groundout from Kevin Fry, which scored Robert Campo.
