Michael O'Sullivan Inks Pro Deal With Jacksonville Armada FC

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Jacksonville Armada FC of the North American Soccer League (NASL) officially signed former Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer player Michael O'Sullivan Tuesday afternoon.
The NASL is sanctioned by U.S. Soccer as the Division II league under Major League Soccer (MLS).
O'Sullivan will make his NASL debut with the Armada FC during the 2017 campaign as a center back. The former Sailfish is an Orlando native and a former member of the Orlando City Development Academy.
In his years with the ‘Fish, O'Sullivan was named 2016 NSCAA All-South Region First Team, 2015 D2CCA All-America Honorable Mention and All-South Region First Team, and also named 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.
In his three years with the Sailfish the team posted a 42-14-5 record, including a 17-2-1 finish in 2015, best in program history. O'Sullivan helped lead the Sailfish to their first-ever NCAA South Region Championship in 2015. He started in 53 of the 54 matches he played in and added 11 points in his career courtesy of an assist and five goals.
“I am excited for Michael to continue playing at the next level,” said PBA head coach Brian McMahon. “Michael has grown tremendously both on and off the field over the last three seasons and I look forward to see what the future holds for him.”
