KANSAS CITY, Mo.- For the sixth consecutive national poll released by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America(NSCAA), Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team find themselves in the top-25. The Sailfish finish the 2016 campaign ranked No. 15 nationally, following a 13-5-1 record.
Finishing the conference slate of the season with a 7-1-1 record, the ‘Fish earned the No. 1 seed in the Sunshine State Conference tournament, earning the right to host it at the Rinker Athletic Campus, the first time such event has occurred in program history.
“We entered the season with a target on our back,” said head coach Brian McMahon. “It took our guys a few games to develop consistency in our style of play but overall I felt we adjusted well and was pleased in the end with how well we came together as a team."
While the ‘Fish lose a lot in this year’s senior class, several key players return in 2017, as Palm Beach Atlantic will look to continue their winning ways for years to come.
