Indianapolis, Ind.- When the first official NCAA Regional Rankings for the 2016 season was released Wednesday afternoon, the Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team sat second in the South Region Rankings. The regional rankings are used to determine who gets in the NCAA National Tournament at the end of the regular season.

PBA is a member of the South Region, which will send four teams to the NCAA Tournament. Alongside PBA, the other ranked south region teams are Lynn University in the top spot, Florida Tech in third, and Mississippi College in the fourth spot. Just on the outside looking in for the South Region are Tampa and Rollins, sitting in the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.

The Sailfish are currently 10-2-1 on the year (9-2-1 in the South Region) and look to improve on Saturday evening as they travel south to Miami Shores to take on Barry University at 6 p.m.
