Athletics Schedule Update After Hurricane Matthew

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew Saturday’s soccer matches between Palm Beach Atlantic and Eckerd have been rescheduled for Sunday.

Both matches will be rescheduled for 6 p.m. kickoffs on Sunday. The men’s match remains in St. Petersburg with the women’s match taking place at the Rinker Athletic Campus.

The storm blew through West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County overnight Thursday and into Friday morning. Palm Beach Atlantic evacuated campus in advance of the storm and cancelled classes through the end of the week.

Wednesday, Oct. 5 - Men's soccer vs. Saint Leo - PPD - No makeup date yet
Wednesday, Oct. 5 - Women's soccer @ Saint Leo - PPD - Rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30, time TBA
Friday, Oct. 7-9 - Men's and women's tennis @ C.L. Varner Invitational - Cancelled
Saturday, Oct. 8 - Women's cross country @ Saint Leo Invitational - On as originally scheduled
Saturday, Oct. 8 - Volleyball vs. Florida Tech - PPD - No makeup date at this time
Saturday, Oct. 8 - Men's soccer @ Eckerd - PPD - Rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8 - Women's soccer vs. Eckerd - PPD - Rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. (Free admission)
Monday, Oct. 10-11 - Men's and women's golf @ Guy Harvey Invitational - PPD - No makeup date at this time

In addition the women's soccer match that was postponed against Florida Tech from Sept. 28 has been rescheduled for Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in Melbourne.
