Men's Soccer Reenters NSCAA Poll At No. 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team has found themselves back in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, entering in at No. 25.
After starting the season No. 5 and dropping out of the top-25 following a 3-2 loss on the road in their second game of the season, the Sailfish have turned things around winning their last five matches by a combined score of 15-3. With the Sailfish reentering the poll at No. 25, it ends a four week drought, after being in the previous 11 NSCAA polls.
The ‘Fish have four 2016 opponents ahead of them in the poll, including three Sunshine State Conference opponents. The University of Tampa is the highest this week at No. 7, and they are followed by No. 11 Barry University. Lynn University sits at No. 15 and defending national champion Pfeiffer University is No. 21.
The Sailfish have already battled Pfeiffer and Lynn, and await their bouts with Barry (Oct. 22) and Tampa (Oct. 26)
The Sailfish are scheduled to take on SSC opponent Saint Leo University this Wednesday, Oct. 5, but with Hurricane Mathew heading towards West Palm Beach, stay tuned to our social media accounts @PBASailfish and @SailfishMS on twitter, as well as Facebook for more updates regarding the game.
