Liu's Under Par Rounds Leads 'Fish at UNG Fall Invite

DAHLONEGA, Ga. - PBA finished 10th in the UNG Fall Invitational which wrapped up play Tuesday at Achasta Golf Club. The final round 298 finished the 'Fish with an 886 for the tournament. The Sailfish will return to the course on Monday, Oct. 11 as they compete in the Guy Harvey Invitational at nearby PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Day 2: David Liu shot 71 on Tuesday as he finishes the tournament 2-under par and in a tie for 16th overall. Ben Murray and Daniel Langley were tied coming into Tuesday, and shot 74 each to shoot 223 and tie for 31st. David Jizdny was not far behind, as he shot 77 in his final round to finish in a tie for 35th. Sean Boyle and Dylan Allen round out the scoring for the 'Fish, as Allen shot 76 and Boyle shot 79 Tuesday.
Day 1: The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team sits in 11th place after day one of the UNG Fall Invitational. The team shot a 300 in the first round, but came back with an impressive second round of 288. The 288 marks the lowest PBA round of the season, topping the second round 289 in the Saint Leo Invitational.
David Liu led the Fish on Monday, as he fired back-to-back impressive rounds of 71 and 72 and sits one under par and in a tie for 16th place. David Jizdny also has a nice day for the Sailfish as he shot rounds of 75 and 72 which sits him in a tie for 29th place overall.
Ben Murray and Daniel Langley are tied at 5-over par after two rounds; as Murray shot rounds of 74 and 75, and Langley finished with a 77 and a 72. Sean Boyle had a similar day, as he shot rounds of 81 and 74, sitting him at 10-over par.
The most up-and-down day for the ‘Fish definitely came from Dylan Allen, who shot a disappointing 80 in round one, but came back with the lowest Sailfish round of the day, shooting a 2-under par 70 in round two.
The tournament will finish on Tuesday, as the Sailfish will look to gain positions on the team leaderboard.
