Sailfish Sweep Buccaneers, Win Fifth Straight Match

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball swept Barry University Friday night, winning by scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-23 to come away with their fifth straight victory.

The win boosts the Sailfish to 5-3 on the season while the loss drops Barry to 6-2.

Palm Beach Atlantic hit .321 for the match, and were led by Sarah Ragland and Ally Rohn offensively. Ragland had 10 kills and no errors on 16 total attacks, while Rohn had 17 kills to go with her nine digs.

Molly Burkhardt turned in another stellar performance for the 'Fish, as she tallied 35 assists for the match. Burkhardt also had four kills on eight attacks, and added two service aces.

Olivia Finckel finished the night with eight kills and hit .353 for the match. On the defensive side, Susie Forbes finished the match with 17 digs to lead the 'Fish.

The Sailfish won't get much rest, as they will host a duo of matches tomorrow, facing off against Lynn University at 1 p.m. and Flagler College at 7 p.m.
