Rain Cancels Final Round in Georiga, Jizdny Finishes 15th

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Palm Beach Atlantic men’s golf opened up their 2016-17 season on Monday afternoon, playing the first two rounds of the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational. The third round was scheduled for Tuesday but inclement weather forced the cancellation of the round with final scores reverting back to the end of round two.

PBA finished in eighth place out of 16 teams and shot two sub-300 rounds of 298 and 296. David Jizdny led the ‘Fish in scoring after the first day as the junior shot a one-under round of 71 in the morning and followed it up with a two-over par 74. David Liu was the second-best player for the ‘Fish on Monday as he shot rounds of 72 and 75.

Following them on the leaderboard was Daniel Langley (76-75), Sean Boyle (77-75), Dylan Allen (81-72), and Ben Murray (79-77).

The host team, Coastal Georgia, won the tournament as they fired rounds of 287 and 291.
