Murphy, Cartafalsa Added to Athletic Training Staff

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic and Head Athletic Trainer Sam Eisen has announced the addition of Matt Murphy and Meghan Cartafalsa as athletic training interns for the 2016-17 academic year.

Murphy is a Wassau, Wisconsin native and graduated from Wisconsin – Eau Claire in May. An athletic training major during his undergrad he worked with the women’s soccer team at Eau Claire and also with the men’s basketball at Wisconsin – Stout. Murphy also has worked with track and field athletes, the Special Olympics and various youth events. He will work primarily with the men’s soccer, men’s tennis and women’s tennis teams this year.

Cartafalsa is a 2016 graduate of Florida Southern College where she was an athletic training major. With the Mocs she worked with the 2014 NCAA II national championship men’s basketball team as well as volleyball and men’s lacrosse. Last fall she spent the semester with the Stanford University football team and previously worked with the football team at Webber International. Cartafalsa will work with the women’s soccer, softball and men’s and women’s golf teams at PBA.
