WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic University athletics department has signed a deal to extend their partnership with Nike through the 2018-19 academic year. The three-year deal with ADPRO Sports will outfit the Sailfish student-athletes with practice gear, equipment and uniforms.

Unique to the deal is an academic tie-in as teams will be rewarded for their work in the classroom with additional merchandise from ADPRO. Teams will also earn rewards for their success on the court and field by winning conference championships.

“PBA represents everything that is right about college athletics,” said ADPRO Sports President Ron Raccuia. “Carolyn Stone and her team of coaches and administrators are committed to providing student-athletes with an exceptional experience that develops mind, body and spirit. Nike Team and ADPRO Sports are proud to continue our partnership with PBA and look forward to celebrating their successes on the field, in the classroom and throughout the community.”

“Sailish Athletics is pleased to have such a strong partner in ADPRO Sports,” said PBA Director of Athletics Carolyn Stone. “Their goal is to be the best in their market space meeting their client’s needs with exceptional service and quality. That goal closely mirrors that of Sailfish Athletics. Our desire is to have an exceptional student-athlete experience, and ADPRO helps us deliver that with world class team uniforms and gear.”

PBA is coming off their most successful year in 2015-16, claiming their first NCAA South Region titles last fall in men’s soccer and volleyball. The Sailfish are provisional members of the Sunshine State Conference with full membership anticipated for 2017-18. The Sailfish currently compete in 12 varsity sports with men’s cross country, men’s and women’s distance track, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse set to debut during the 2017-18 year.
