KANSA CITY, Mo.-Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team officially kicks off the 2016 preseason ranked No. 5 nationally by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

The Sailfish, coming off a 17-2-1 season, look to continue their winnings ways under head coach Brian MacMahon’s third season with the program. The ‘Fish, who finished No. 5 in last season’s final national poll and winners of the NCAA South Region Championship, will open their season Sept. 1 in Georgia as they take on Clayton State University.

There are some familiar faces in the preseason Top-25, with defending National Champions Pfeiffer University sitting atop the poll, and Sunshine State Conference members Rollins College and Lynn University also in the list, sitting 17th and 25th, respectively.

The Sailfish open up their home portion of the season Sept. 14 as the ‘Fish host cross-county rivals Lynn University at 7 p.m. at the Rinker Athletic Campus.
