DAVIE, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic baseball got back on the winning track on Tuesday, snapping a three-game skid with an 8-5 win over No. 19/16 Nova Southeastern on Tuesday night.
Kyle Simon hit two home runs and Bobby Brennan collected four hits as the Sailfish mashed 12 hits off of the Sharks. The hit total is the most in a month for PBA (19-24) while Nova (28-13) had 10 hits in the game.

The sophomore leads the team in both home runs and RBIs on the season. Noah Johnson became the 11th player with a homer this season when he went deep in the 9th to give PBA an 8-4 lead.
The ‘Fish got on the board first as Bobby Brennan knocked in Eddie Vicinanza to get an early 1-0 lead. The Sharks responded with a pair of home runs in the bottom half to take a 3-1 lead, their only lead of the game. Three hits with two outs in the second led to four runs for PBA as the ‘Fish retook the lead for good at 5-3.
Eddie Vicinanza was on base three times on the night, driving in two and scoring twice. Brennan also drove in two as Johnson scored twice.
Mitchell Carroll struck out seven in 4.2 innings of work making his third start of the season but left with a no decision after being lifted in the fifth.
