Brittany Henson Named to NCAA International Student Records Committee

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Brittany Henson was recently named to the NCAA International Student Records Committee and will serve until August 2017.

Henson, who serves PBA’s campus as International Admissions Counselor and Principal Designated School Official (PDSO), will begin serving immediately on the six-person committee comprising both NCAA Division I and II schools.

The committee exists to serve the NCAA membership to International Academic Standards and instruct the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse on procedures for reviewing foreign student records.

“I am excited about the opportunity to share my passion for international students with the NCAA,” Henson said. “I hope to make valuable connections and expand my knowledge in order to enhance internal procedures for international student athletes. I am grateful to admissions, athletics and administrative departments on campus for recommending and supporting me in this role.”

Henson is an alum of PBA having earned a B.S. in international business and a minor in Spanish. She is currently working on an MBA at PBA. She is in her fourth year at the school.
