He retired nine in a row from the first until a one-out walk in the fourth. A singled followed from German Morales to put two on and one out for the Bobcats but Polaski got a fly out and a ground out to end the threat.
The Bobcats (6-5) broke through in the fifth with a pair of extra-base hits including a run-scoring triple from Michael Centeno. The ‘Fish responded to score three in the bottom of the fifth as Visconti doubled home two, pushing Hessney and Summey across the plate. After Visconti stole third, he scored on a bounce out by Rivera as PBA retook the lead at 5-2.
Phil DiLandro pitched a perfect eighth and Dominic Monda struck out one in the ninth as the Sailfish wrapped up the victory. Ben Ancheff (1-2) took the loss for St. Thomas after tossing five innings and giving up six hits and five runs. He walked three and struck out five.
