Head Coach Brian McMahon Named NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Palm Bach Atlantic men’s soccer team added more post-season honors to it’s list of 2015 accolades Monday evening, as head coach Brian McMahon was selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as the NCAA Division II South Region Coach of the Year.

In just his second season as head coach for the Sailfish, he led the ‘Fish to their best record in program history, winning the school’s first-ever NCAA South Region championship, and climbing to No. 4 in the NSCAA/NCAA Top-25, best in school history.

McMahon picked up coaching win No. 200 of his career back on October 20th, and is 29-9-4 in two seasons with the Sailfish.

Coach McMahon will also be on the ballot to be considered for the National Coach of the Year, which will be announced during the 2015 NSCAA Coach of the Year Show on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
