Jermaine Metz and Michael O'Sullivan Named to 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer senior midfielder Jermaine Metz and junior defensive back Michael O’Sullivan were named to the 2015 Academic All-District Division II Men's Soccer Team Thursday afternoon, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Jermaine Metz is a native of Manchester, England and majors in psychology. Metz has started in all 15 contests for the Sailfish this season, and has scored six goals and has added nine assists on the year, helping the nation’s leading offense to a 13-1-1 record so far this season.

Michael O’Sullivan is a native of Chelmsford, England and majors in accounting. O'Sullivan has also started in all 15 contests for the ‘Fish, and has been a key contributor to the Sailfish defensive line that has only allowed 15 goals all season.

To be eligible for nomination to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must be a starter or an important reserve.

Metz and O’Sullivan are now eligible to be selected to the Academic All-America Team, announced Nov. 20.
