Men's Soccer Remains Undefeated, Beat Rollins College 2-1

Winter Park, Fla.- The No. 4 Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team continued their winning ways Wednesday night, defeated the Rollins College Tars to advance to 12-0-1 on the year. The Sailfish, the top scoring team in NCAA DII only needed two goals to get the job done tonight, as they defeated the Tars 2-1. 

Lucas Kuscevic got the Sailfish on the ‘board first in the 6th minute scoring on a Sailfish corner kick. The corner was taken by Cameron Roberts, and was only the second corner kick goal for the ‘Fish all season. 

Both teams would remain out of the net for the remainder of the half, with the Sailfish only recording four shots in the first half. 

Rollins tied things up in the 59th minute when Matt Volk scored for the Tars. 

The decisive goal on the evening came off the boot of Cleef Desir, who netted his fourth goal of the year in the 79th minute. The goal was assisted by Lucas Kuscevic.

Goalkeeper Steeven Raymont (12-0-1) added another 5 saves to his impressive season. 

The Sailfish are off this weekend and are back in action next Wednesday, Oct. 21, as they host fellow SSC provisional member Embry-Riddle at 7 pm.
