ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic women's soccer team battled it out with Eckerd College on Saturday night for 110 minutes, but neither team was able to score the decisive goal as the match finished in a 1-1 draw.
Palm Beach Atlantic (4-6-1) got on the ‘board first when senior Haily Johnson beat the Triton goalkeeper in the 24th minute. It was the second goal of the season for the Miami native, with the other coming back on September 10th, also against Eckerd College.

The score would remain 1-0 into halftime as the Palm Beach Atlantic defense would play another stellar first half only allowing four shots on goal.

A PBA handball inside the box would set up the Eckerd College equalizing goal on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute. That would be all the Tritons could muster as sophomore goalkeeper Isabelle Granlund played outstanding in net again for the ‘Fish making 17 saves on the night, eight of them coming in overtime.

Sailfish defenders Karina White, Bridget Wollrabe, Stephanie D'Cruz, and Kayla Fisher played the entire 110 minutes of the match, helping to limit the Tritons to one goal.

The Sailfish will now look ahead to their final home match of the 2015 season.  The ‘Fish will host Rollins College on Wednesday, Oct. 14th at 7 p.m. and will honor the senior class before the match.
