Men's Golf Wraps up Play at Jay Jennison Memorial Tournament

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men’s golf team opened up their 2015-16 season this week, as they competed in the Jay Jennison Memorial Tournament hosted by Flagler College.  The tournament was won by the University of West Florida, who finished with a total score of 852 (-12).   

Day 1:  The Sailfish finished with two solid rounds on Day 1, as they would post team scores of 310 and 303.  Junior Ben Murray led the ‘Fish in scoring on Monday.  Murray would post rounds of 75 (+3), and 74 (+2).  Close behind on the leaderboard was freshman Ryan Fowler who shot 76 and 74 on the day.  Following Murray and Fowler were Daniel Langley (79-78, 157), Trent Harris (83-77, 160), and Dylan Allen (80-83, 163).

Day 2:  PBA would post another solid round on Tuesday, as their round of 305 was good for 11th on the day.  The ‘Fish would be led on Tuesday by Trent Harris, who shot an impressive final round of 73 (+1).  Following Harris for the ‘Fish were Ben Murray (76), Daniel Langley (78), Dylan Allen (78), and Ryan Fowler (80).

PBA will be back in action on September 28th, as they will travel to Dade City, Fla. to participate in the Saint Leo Invitational.
