PBA Softball Earns No. 10 NCAA Regional Ranking

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Thanks to their recent strong play the Palm Beach Atlantic softball team was named to this week’s NCAA regional ranking that placed the Sailfish at No. 10. PBA is riding an eight-game win streak with their record settling at 32-19.
The Sailfish will play four more games to close out the season including their final home double-header on Saturday, April 25th when they play host to Rollins College at 2 pm. They will close out the season on Friday, May 1st at Nova Southeastern University.
Valdosta State University (43-4) currently holds the No. 1 regional ranking as well as the top national ranking for a fifth straight week by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). They are followed by the University of North Alabama (27-8), the University of Alabama-Huntsville (34-10), Rollins (33-11) and Florida Tech (30-15) rounding out the top-five in the regional rankings.
Shorter University (28-11) comes in at No. 6 followed by Saint Leo University (36-12), the University of Tampa (24-10), Barry University (27-13) and PBA (28-17).
The next NCAA regional poll will be released on Wednesday, April 29th.
