Men's Golf Wraps up 2015 Season at Buccaneer Invite

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic men’s golf team wrapped up the Barry Buccaneer Invitational as well as their 2014-15 season on Tuesday afternoon, playing the final 36 holes of the tourney on their way to a 16th place finish.

Lynn University came back from fourth place after day one to blow away the field shooting rounds of 281 and a tournament low 273 on Tuesday to win the tournament. 

PBA shot rounds of 315, 317, and 306 on the week and were led by sophomores Kyle Kubala (80-78-73, 231) and  Ben Murray (76-80-77, 233). They were followed on the leaderboard by Daniel Langley (81-80-76, 237), Luke Johanson (78-81-80, 239), and Trent Harris (84-79-84, 247).

Freshman Luke Johanson led the ‘Fish this season in scoring average, with an average 18-hole score of 75.52 and had the lowest round of any Sailfish golfer this season with his final round of 68 at the Warner Golf Classic on March 3rd.  Sophomore Ben Murray played in a total of nine tournaments this season, posting a scoring average of 77.36.
