SKILLMAN, N.J. – Both Palm Beach Atlantic tennis teams found themselves back in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II national team rankings released March 25th, with the men coming in at No. 31 and the women at No. 39.

PBA’s men’s team jumped six spots in the rankings thanks in large part to a 12-2 record to start the season. Their losses have come to No. 9 Lynn and No. 12 Rollins. Also making a leap on the individual side of the rankings was junior Nicolas Uryson, who went from the No. 47-ranked singles player nationally to No. 28 with the latest poll.

Hawaii Pacific jumped over the University of West Florida for the top spot in the rankings.

On the women’s side, the Sailfish slid down a few spots to No. 39 in the country. PBA’s women have won seven matches in a row and nine-of-ten to a record of 13-5 for the season. Four of their five losses have come against teams in the Top 50, including three in the top ten.

Armstrong State remains atop the poll on the women’s side of the Top 50.

Both Palm Beach Atlantic squads have some important games left on the schedule, with the final home match of the season coming on April 11th against Flagler College at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center at 3:00 pm.
