Winter Haven, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women’s tennis team won their sixth consecutive match Saturday afternoon, defeating Warner University 8-1.

The afternoon started off  with relative ease for the ‘Fish, as they won all three of the doubles sets. Even Vasquez/ Leyla Taracena posted an 8-2 win, followed by Yoanna Peshev/ Maja Jovic’s 9-7 victory. Valerie Nagovitcina/ Michaela Mignemi rounded out the doubles competition with a one-sided 8-0 victory.

On the singles side, the Sailfish won five of their six chances. Nagovitcina got things started with a 6-2, 6-1 win. Jovic (8-6) and Taracena (6-0, 6-0) were victorious as well. Ana Reich in the fifth spot won 8-1, and Dezi Bowman cruised to an 8-0 victory

The Sailfish travel to Orlando Tuesday to take on Colorado Mesa University, starting at 4p.m.
