WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – PBA women’s basketball coach Carlos Palacio has announced the summer of 2015 girls’ basketball camp schedule to be hosted in the Rubin Arena on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University.

There will be three camps hosted by the Sailfish this summer, starting with an Individual Skills Camp June 22-25. This camp is designed for beginner-intermediate players and will focus on developing skills in all areas of the game. Cost for commuters is $295 (includes lunch) and for overnight campers is $385 (includes all meals). Camp will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The other individual camp is the Sailfish Elite Camp from August 5-8. This camp focuses on advanced skill development and is designed to prepare athletes for collegiate level practice and competition. There will be on-court skill sessions, team competitions, nutrition discussions as well as weight room sessions. The cost of the Elite Camp is the same as the Skills camp; $295 for commuters (including lunch) and $385 for overnight campers (including all meals).

All campers will be expected to bring a basketball, notebook, and jump rope to camp.

Finally, Palm Beach Atlantic will also host a Team Shootout June 26-27. The focus of the Shootout will be on high school and travel team competition, and is priced at a reasonable $50 per team as well as $10 per player. The format is designed to allow each program the financial flexibility to compete in a shootout without being required to stay overnight.

PBA camps offer low player-to-coach ratios, on-site certified athletic trainers and experienced and qualified camp staff.

Registration is now open for all camps and can be found by CLICKING HERE.
