PBA Sweeps Away Post, 9-0

ORLANDO, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men’s tennis cruised to a 9-0 victory over Post University on Tuesday afternoon, traveling to Orlando for the neutral site match and winning their second in a row.
PBA posted a convincing sweep over the Eagles, beginning with the doubles pairings of Romain Nowaczyk and Nicolas Uryson, and Mark Heimberger and Matt Leeds, who each took down their opponents 8-1. Asti Adams and Nicholas Battistini also won handedly, 8-2.
The singles side of the competition had just one set in which the Sailfish weren’t successful, starting with Uryson’s 6-1, 6-4 victory over PU’s number one. Nowaczyk posted a 6-2, 6-2 win at number two, and Heimberger followed with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at number three.
Battistini had an easy time with the Eagle’s five, posting a 6-0, 6-2 victory, while Matt Leeds swept his adversary 6-0, 6-0.
Adams had to battle his way to earn his win over Post’s number four, taking his match 6-1, 2-6, 10-8 to secure the clean sweep for the Sailfish.
Palm Beach Atlantic is back in action Wednesday evening when they welcome Lewis University to the Mitch Gornto Tennis Complex at 5:00 pm.
