WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – With all the fanfare of National Signing Day on Wednesday, the Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer team and head coach Chris Gnehm made a big splash with their 2015 recruiting class, signing 20 players from all over the United States and world to usher in a new era of Sailfish women’s soccer.

Dominique Barber
Dominique is a natural left footed defender from New Jersey. A three-sport standout at Oakcrest High School, she earned 12 varsity letters in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. She was voted as captain of all three teams. She has been on the honor roll all four years at Oakcrest.

Shannon Berg
Shannon is a midfielder from New York. Shannon is a four year letter winner at Red Hook Senior High School. Including numerous individual awards she was named captain of her team both her junior and senior years. Shannon leaves Red Bank tallying 44 goals and 28 assists for an impressive 116 points in her High school career. She currently competes with the Albany Alleycats club team.

Alejandra Bittleman
Alejandra is a native of Chile. She is transferring to PBA from St. Andrews. In her first two tears at St. Andrews she played in 38 games, during those two years she scored 6 goals and had 13 assists. In her sophomore campaign she led her conference in and was ranked 5th in the NAIA in assists.

Kasey Boyd
Kasey is a naturally left footed forward/defender from Palm Beach County, Florida. She started all four years at Palm Beach Central High School, helping the Broncos win four conference championships, two district championships, one regional championship, and an undefeated regular season this year. She currently competes for the Wellington Wave club. She will be coming to PBA with a 3.7 GPA and graduating in the top 10% of her class.

Meagan Cameron
Meagan is a defender from Connecticut. She was a 4 year starter at Plainville High School earning All-Conference honors her senior season. She currently competes with FSA FC.

Jessica Chavis
Jessica is a forward from Florida. She has been a four year varsity soccer player at Niceville High School, making the All-Star team her senior year. In her final two seasons of high school ball she scored 15 goals and had 17 assists. She currently competes with the Gulf Coast Texans East Club team.

Stephanie D'Cruz
Stephanie is native of Iowa who will be transferring to PBA from Graceland University. She helped the Yellow Jackets win two conference championships while leading the team in scoring in her two seasons there. She scored 20 goals and had 6 assists in her two years with Graceland.

Isabelle Granlund
Isabelle is a goalkeeper from Skogås, Sweden. She went to high school in Sweden at Farsta Gymnasium. She spent a year at NAIA Belhaven University as the starting goalkeeper earning SSAC All-Freshmen Honors. She returned home to Sweden to play for Taby FK, and will be transferring to PBA with three years of eligibility.

Reiley Hutchinson
Reiley is a defender from Florida who lettered all four years at Forrest High School. She currently competes for the Ocala Stampede club team. Reiley is an honors student and will be graduating with a 3.7 GPA.

Sabrina Jarosz
Sabrina is a forward from nearby Jupiter, Florida. She will graduate from Jupiter High School. With a German father and an Argentinian Mom soccer is a shared family passion. She currently plays her club soccer with Team BOCA.

Sydney Jimenez
Sydney is an accomplished midfield/defender from Florida and was a four years starter at Trinity Catholic High School. She was an integral part of their 2013 FHSA State Championship. Her senior campaign earned her All-County honors, and she currently plays her club soccer with the Ocala Stampede. Sydney is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, and is coming to PBA with a 3.8 GPA.

Kiana Malpica
Kiana is a multi-purpose player from South Florida who will compete for time as a defender. She is a four year varsity soccer player at West Boca High School. She currently competes with her Boca United club team.

Carol Marshall
Carol is a defender from Florida. She played at Heritage High School, and currently competes with her club team Brevard Soccer Alliance. She is the anchor of her club team and has helped them rise to a #3 ranking in the state of Florida. She is graduating from the Cambridge program with a 4.2 GPA and in the top 3% of her class.

Jaime Montgomery
Jaime is a forward from Maryland. She was a four year starter and team captain at Gaithersburg High School. During her career she totaled 64 goals and 45 assists for a staggering 173 points. She is also a varsity letter winner in lacrosse and track & field. She currently plays with the Maryland Rush club team. She is coming to PBA with a 3.8 GPA.

Elyse Mueller
Mueller is a forward from Texas. Elyse was born and raised in San Francisco before relocating for her senior year. She was a four year varsity athlete. She competed her first three seasons at Berean Christian High School in California. Her senior year at Covenant Christian Academy she was named the team captain. Additionally Elyse is a semi-finalist for the LWFCI 2014 Texas Christian Athlete of the Year award (final selection March 16, 2015).

Lindsey Pinder
Lindsey is a forward from Florida. She was a four year starter at Trinity Catholic High School where she helped them win a Class 2A State Championship in 2014. She was a captain for her junior and senior years and currently competes for the Orlando City Club team. Lindsey is a member of the National Honor society and will be graduating with a 4.39 GPA.

Alexis Sanquist
Alexis is a goalkeeper from Texas. She spent 10 years excelling as an all-around gymnast before making the switch to soccer. Her athleticism is easy to see, and will add to a talented group of keepers next season. She is coming to PBA with a 3.73 GPA.

Savanna Soares
Savanna is a versatile midfielder/defender from Virginia. She was a four year letter winner at Kempsville High School. Currently she plays her club soccer for the Virginia Rush ECNL team. Savanna is a member of the National Honor Society and will be coming to PBA with a 3.83 GPA

Brianna Spence
Spence is a goalkeeper from New Jersey. She played for at South Brunswick High School, and currently competes with the CJ Westfield Club. In addition to her team commitments she regularly trains with Jill Loyden of the USWNT. Brianna is a dynamic young woman who has made honor roll all four years of HS.

Karlie White
Karlie is a forward/mid-fielder from Florida. She is a four year letter winner at East Lake High School where she was the team captain her senior year. She currently competes with her club team Tampa Bay United. Karlie is an Honor Roll student and will be coming to PBA with a 4.46 GPA.

Coach Gnehm remarked about his first recruiting class at Palm Beach Atlantic, “I am extremely happy to have such a large and deep group of players joining our PBA soccer family. This class has added talent and depth to every position. As we stay committed to the process of getting better every day, there is no doubt that this group of players will be a big part of building something special here. It is a testament to Palm Beach Atlantic University, its beautiful location, and new athletic complex to draw so many quality student-athletes. Adding these players to the core group that is already on campus make me excited for the future of PBA Women’s soccer as we move into the Sunshine State conference.”
