PBA Wraps Up 9th Place Finish At Titan Invitational

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic Men’s Golf Team finished ninth this week at the Titan Winter Invitational hosted by Eastern Florida College at a chilly and very windy Sun Tree Country Club.

The Sailfish finished with rounds of 319, 312, and 308 to finish the tournament at 939 (+75), good for ninth out of 14 schools competing.  Palm Beach Atlantic was 10th after the first two rounds of the tournament but overtook Embry-Riddle for 9th in the third and final round. 

Webber International won the tournament, coming back in the final round of play Tuesday to overtake Lynn University for the top spot.  Webber International finished at 33-over par, While Lynn finished at 36-over par. 

Luke Johanson led the ‘Fish, with his rounds of 80, 71, and 76 being good enough for a 17th overall individual finish for the week.  Luke was followed by Daniel Langley (78-82-77, 237), Dylan Allen (78-78-81, 237), Ben Murray (83-81-77, 241), and Andy Peterson (84-84-78, 246).

The Sailfish are back in action on February 23rd as they travel to Viera, Fla. to participate in the FIT Panther Invitational.
