PBA Men's Soccer Named the No. 6 Seed at Upcoming NCCAA National Tournament

GREENVILLE, S.C.- Courtesy of their South Region title earned on Saturday the Sailfish men’s soccer team was awarded the No. 6-seed in the upcoming NCCAA National Tournament to be played on Dec. 1-6 in Kissimmee, Florida at the Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex. The Sailfish will first do battle in pool play against the No. 1-seed Mississippi College followed by a showdown with No. 9-seed Roberts Wesleyan College.
Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer will be in search of their second-ever NCCAA National Championship after earning the crown following the 2010 season.
Pool play will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd as the ‘Fish will do battle at 2 pm versus Roberts Wesleyan. They will then turn around and take on Mississippi College on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd at 2 pm.
Teams are awarded three points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a loss during pool play. The three pool winners will advance to the final four while an additional wild card team will also advance based on total points.
The National Tournament semi-finals will take place on Friday-Saturday, Dec. 5-6 with the championship match slated for 3 pm on Dec. 6th.
A kick-off dinner, community service project and awards recognition will all take place as part of the tournament festivities.
