Men's Soccer Set for Trip to NCCAA Regional Tournament

GREENVILLE, S.C.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team has wrapped up their regular season slate but will now turn their focus to the upcoming NCCAA Regional Tournament set for Nov. 20-22 in Murfreesboro, N.C. The Sailfish have been named the No. 1-seed in the eight-team tournament and will play their first match on Thursday, Nov. 20th at 2:30 pm.
The opponent for the ‘Fish has not yet been set as they will receive a first-round bye courtesy of their No. 1-seed position.
PBA is set to take on the winner of the No. 4/5 matchup of Chowan University and Emmanuel College.
The other seedings in the tournament include: Shorter University (No. 2), Southern Wesleyan University (No. 3), Columbia International University (No. 6) and Bob Jones University (No. 7). PBA defeated both Shorter and Bob Jones University during the regular season.
The Sailfish will enter the tournament on a two-match winning streak and currently sit at 8-6-3 on the season. The winner of the tournament will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament that will be played in Kissimmee, Fla. on Dec. 1-6 at the Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex.
