PBA Falls To No. 8 Barry, 3-0

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer traveled south to Miami Shores take on NSCAA No. 7 Barry University on Thursday evening and fell short 3-0 from Buccaneer Field.
The Bucs opened up the scoring in the 13th minute of the game on a through ball in the box. PBA played It close in the first half but Barry tacked on another tally in the 26th minute to widen their lead.
With the 2-0 halftime deficit, the Sailfish did manage to take three second-half shots and got six saves from Kayla Wincko, but Barry managed another goal in the 76th minute to put the game on ice.
Wincko finished the game with seven total saves, while junior Kasey Wyer managed the only two shots on goal the Sailfish had for the game.
Palm Beach Atlantic has no easy task when they return to the pitch next week, traveling across the Sunshine State to take on NCAA Division I Florida Gulf Coast University on October 22nd at 7 pm.
