Baseball Announces Open Tryout For Students On September 8th

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University baseball program will host their annual open tryout for current students on Monday, September 8th at 3 pm. The tryout will take place at Palm Beach Gardens High School in Palm Beach Gardens with each participant needing to bring their own equipment as well as a physical completed within the six months.

4245 Holly Drive
Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410
Baseball field is behind the school on the Northeast corner of the campus.

Players should wear baseball pants or shorts while bringing a glove, cleats and turf shoes for the tryout.

Other equipment such as bats, helmets and baseballs will be available for use on site.

Those interested players must provide a copy of their physical completed within the six months, be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center, have a signed Sickle Cell Waiver, and possess at least a 2.7 GPA (incoming freshman must have had a 3.0 high school GPA). Incoming freshman will also need their most recent transcript. No student will be able to tryout without these documents.

The Sickle Cell waiver form as well as instructions for the short video that must be watched may be picked up at the front desk of the Greene Complex.

All documents MUST be submitted by Friday, September 5th, 2014 to the front desk of the Greene Complex.
