WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletic Department added a familiar face to its list of full-time employees on Wednesday with the announcement  of Kyler Ludlow to the position of Sports Information Director. Ludlow has spent the past two years as a graduate assistant in the PBA Sports Information office and officially began his new duties on July 1, 2014.  

Michael Brown has served the University as its primary SID for the past seven years and will continue to oversee the Sports Information office in his role as Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations.

After earning his undergraduate degree at Cedarville (Ohio) University Ludlow has spent the past two years enrolled in PBA’s Organizational Leadership graduate program while completing his degree in May.

During this time he has served as the main athletic communications contact for the Sailfish men’s soccer, women’s basketball and baseball teams while operating as a secondary contact for PBA’s nine other sports.

“We are excited to welcome Kyler to our staff in a full-time capacity after serving the past two years as a graduate assistant,” said PBA Director of Athletics, Carolyn Stone. “His knowledge and passion for Sailfish athletics is evident in everything he does and we look forward to him being a part of our team and telling the stories of our talented student-athletes.”

Ludlow’s career in the sports information field began by working as the SID for three Athletes in Action baseball tours in western New York. In that role he served as the team’s broadcaster while assisting with other operational duties.

He has also worked in the world of Minor League Baseball as the Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant for the Lansing Lugnuts, Class-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. In this role he helped design and maintain media notes, compiled and distributed statistics and helped coordinate the social media accounts of the team.

At PBA he will oversee key areas in the department including the athletics website (, publications, media relations and social media in promoting the Sailfish Athletics brand.

Kyler and his wife, Aubrey (Siemon) Ludlow have been married for two years and reside in West Palm Beach.
