FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Sunday concluded a tough four game in three days stretch for Palm Beach Atlantic, traveling south to take on Nova Southeastern and falling 4-1 to the Sharks from the NSU Baseball Complex.

Neither team scored more than a single run in an inning, with NSU scoring in the first, second, fifth and seventh innings. PBA’s lone tally came in the third frame. Senior Ethan Perla singled to left field with one away, stole second, moved to third on a groundout, and came home on a wild pitch.

Palm Beach Atlantic outhit Nova Southeastern 6-5 on the night, but couldn’t come through with any clutch base hits.

Leading the way for the Sailfish offense was Andres Vazquez, who went 2-for-4 on the night. Juniors Brian Walker and Chris Farrell both had doubles for PBA.

The busy end-of-the-year swing for Palm Beach Atlantic continues on Wednesday when the Sailfish travel to Winter Park to take on the Rollins College Tars at 12 Noon.
