PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – It was a night to forget for Palm Beach Atlantic baseball, falling to Florida Southern College 24-5 from Palm Beach Gardens High School on Friday night.

In a game with few highlights for PBA, Ryan Drew put together a 3-for-4 night that included his first home run as a Sailfish. Fellow senior Joel Buchko also parked his third homer of the year in a 1-for-4 ballgame.

The Mocs’ offense scored two in the first, four in the third, eight in the fourth, and then five runs in both the eighth and ninth innings. FSC had six players finish with multi-hit performances, capped off by Chris Dennis, who went 5-for-7 with four runs scored and four runs driven in.

Fortunately for the Sailfish, the two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM from Palm Beach Gardens High School.
