Women's Tennis Wins Their 10th Match in a Row with a Sweep of SCAD-Atlanta

KISSIMMEE, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women’s tennis team reeled off their tenth victory in a row on Thursday afternoon by defeating Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta in Kissimmee by a 9-0 score. The ‘Fish are now 13-5 on the season with a road match slated for this weekend at the University of Tampa.

The Bees were outmatched from the beginning against Palm Beach Atlantic as the ‘Fish earned three solid wins in doubles before barely dropping a set in singles.

Veena Vasquez and Jessica Wharton each won in straight sets at the top of singles while no other matchup saw the Sailfish drop more than two games to their opponents.

The Sailfish will battle UT on Saturday, March 22nd at 2 pm in Tampa.
