LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Now sporting a 20-5 season record the Palm Beach Atlantic softball program continues to be recognized nationally as the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II poll was released on Wednesday afternoon. The Sailfish move up one spot from last week’s poll to settle in as the No. 24-ranked team in the country.
The ‘Fish made their debut in the poll four weeks ago by being named just outside the top-25 of the poll in the receiving votes section and have since moved into the rankings the past two weeks.
PBA earned a victory on Wednesday at Lynn in game one before darkness forced the postponement of game two with the Sailfish and Fighting Knights tied at 10-10. The two teams will resume the game as part of their regularly scheduled double-header at PBA on Wednesday, April 9th at 5 pm.
