Greenville, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the 2013 men’s soccer All-Americans this week, and Palm Beach Atlantic had two representatives on the third team. Defender Branden Langenberg and freshman forward Lucas Coutinho both brought home the distinguished honor.

Langenberg, a Jacksonville, Florida native, started in 13 of 15 games for the Sailfish during the season, and solidified himself as a key member to the PBA defensive core. Branden scored one goal against Christian Brothers during the year, and logged a third-best 1,258 minutes on the pitch.

Coutinho, who hails from Recife, Brazil, provided a secondary scoring option up front for the Sailfish for the first time in years. The rookie scored a second-best nine goals and also chipped in five assists for a total of 23 points. Lucas notched a hat trick against Eckerd College and missed only one game during his freshman campaign.

This marks the first time that Langenberg and Coutinho have been honored by the NCCAA.
