Evin Graham Selected as ICAA Player of the Week

TIFFIN, Ohio- Palm Beach Atlantic junior Evin Graham was selected earlier this week as the Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) Player of the Week for men’s basketball. The ICAA for men’s basketball is composed of all NCAA Division II programs that are not in a conference.
Other than Palm Beach Atlantic the group consists of Bluefield State University, Oakland City University, Spring Hill College, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Union University and Washington Adventist University. The awards are picked by ICAA Director, Mike Bond.
A junior from Fort Myers, Fla. and a first-year player for PBA following his transfer from NCAA Division I, Jacksonville University, Graham has been a force as a scorer, distributor and rebounder in the early stages of the 2013-14 season for Palm Beach Atlantic.
Last week he averaged 18.5 points, 11 rebounds, 4.5 assists and four steals per game while shooting 48-percent from the floor and 92.3-percent from the free-throw line in leading PBA to a 1-1 record.
He produced 19 points, 12 rebounds and five steals in an 86-76 loss to Lynn (Dec. 4) before netting 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in PBA’s 73-68 win over Eckerd College (Dec. 7).
Joining Graham on the women’s side for ICAA Player of the Week was Lyndi Tedder from Oakland City.
