Parker Tabbed ICAA Player of the Week

TIFFIN, Ohio – Palm Beach Atlantic women’s basketball player Kasie Parker was named the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) Player of the Week for her tremendous efforts last week.

The ICAA for women's basketball  is Bluefield State, Oakland City, Palm Beach Atlantic, Spring Hill, South Dakota School of Mines, Union and Washington Adventist.  The award was picked by ICAA Director Mike Bond.

Parker, a 5-foot-9 senior from Chuluota, Florida, averaged 19 points per game in three contests against Ave Maria, Rollins, and Florida Tech. The Sailfish went 1-2 in those contests, taking No. 23 Rollins and south region power Florida Tech down to the wire.

This was the first time this season that a PBA player was named ICAA Player of the Week.

Palm Beach Atlantic returns to action Wednesday night to take on Eckerd College in the Rubin Arena, and then hosts UPR-Bayamon on Saturday, November 23rd.
