West and Murray Lead the Way as PBA Concludes Play in Lake Wales

LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men’s golf program wrapped up their fall schedule on Sunday by completing the final two rounds of the Beyond the Drive Invitational hosted by Warner University at the Lake Wales Country Club. The first-year program continues to make strides as evidenced by Jacob West and Ben Murray each finishing in the top-11 of the tournament.
West finished as the tournament’s runner-up with a three-round cumulative score of 217 (70-76-71) while sitting four shots back of eventual tournament medalist winner, Hikari Yamamoto of Warner who completed at 213 (67-70-76).
Murray tied for 11th in the event with a three-round showing of 228 (78-72-78) as the Sailfish registered a team score of 935 (309-307-319) in the two-day event.
Warner earned the team title with a 894 (298-298-298) while the University of Tampa finished second at 914 (303-309-302).
Following behind West and Murray for the ‘Fish was Bryan Gagnon at 242 (78-85-79), Chris Clancy at 253 (83-79-91) and Alec Tropea at 267 (90-80-97).
