BOCA RATON, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer team held a 1-0 lead at halftime at Lynn University on Saturday afternoon but were unable to hold on for victory as the Fighting Knights score three unanswered scores in the final 45 minutes of play to take the match by a 3-1 score. The loss drops the ‘Fish to 4-5-1 on the season while Lynn improves to 4-5-3.

The Sailfish began what would be a productive first-half with an early goal in the 13th minute as sophomores Haily Johnson and Kasey Wyer teamed up for a through ball up the middle that split the LU defense and allowed for a Johnson finish, her sixth of the season.

From there however it would be LU finding the back of the net as they utilized three second-half scores to take the match.

Brittany Garbina earned the equalizer shortly after halftime in the 53rd minute while Amanda Feldstein chased home the go-ahead score in the 60th minute to push Lynn in front 2-1.

A goal by Jordyn Turner on a breakaway gave the Knights their final score of the afternoon.

LU held a 30-7 shots advantage for the match while PBA led in corner kick opportunities by a 4-2 count.

Allison Fox made 10 saves in goal for PBA while Meghan Dolan earned the win for LU.
