KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team has started the season off well, with a 3-1-1 record after the first month of the year, and they have been rewarded by the NSCAA with the No. 9 ranking in the South Region.
It is the first time this season that PBA has found themselves in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). There is still work to do, however, with only the top three teams in the region making it to the national tournament.
The South Region’s top team is Rollins College, who PBA will face at home on October 23rd. The Saint Leo Lions, who the Sailfish fell on the road for their only loss this season, occupy the No. 2 spot of the rankings. West Florida, Nova Southeastern, and Tampa round out the Top Five.
In front of PBA in the second half of the rankings are Lynn, Shorter, and West Alabama.
A key part of the Sailfish schedule kicks off at 7:00 PM on Wednesday night, when the ‘Fish travel to Barry University to take on the Buccaneers.
