Mark Heimberger Named NCCAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C.- The resurgent play of the Palm Beach Atlantic men’s tennis team has been a collective team effort. Leading the charge has been No. 1-singles player Mark Heimberger who has been recognized as the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Player of the Week by the NCCAA National Office.

A native of Mexico City, Mexico, Heimberger has emerged this season as a top player for head coach Chi Ly and the men’s tennis team.

His play last week against Franciscan College saw Heimberger tally a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1-singles while earning an 8-0 win alongside his playing partner in No. 2-doubles.

PBA has earned victories in their past three matches while also winning six of their past seven. Their record stands at 6-9 on the season.
