MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic came out flat against the Barry University on Tuesday night, and the Buccaneers sunk the Sailfish, 11-1, at Feinbloom Field.

The Buccaneers’ pitching staff held PBA at bay for the majority of the game, with the Sailfish tacking on a run in the eighth inning thanks to an RBI single by Bobby Kissner. Barry scored at least one run in five consecutive innings, including three runs in the fourth and sixth innings.

PBA’s offense still managed to knock out eight hits, led by junior Joel Buchko. The catcher had three hits in three at-bats, also drawing a walk. A.J. Steimel continued his hot hitting with a 2-for-4 performance, and freshman Sean Visconti went 1-for-3 with the lone run scored.

Palm Beach Atlantic returns to action this weekend in a home series against the Saint Leo Lions. The first game will be played at 7:00 PM on Friday night at the Santaluces Complex, and Saturday’s double header will start at 1:00 PM from Palm Beach Gardens High School.
