ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic gave a valiant second-half effort Saturday afternoon, but could not slow down the hot shooting of Eckerd College, falling on the road, 73-46.

Once again, Ashley Dolberry led the way for the Sailfish, scoring 22 points, going 12-for-14 from the free throw line, and grabbing five rebounds. She scored 17 of her points in the second half alone.

The Eckerd defense played fits on the Sailfish offensive attack, holding the team to just 25% (14-of-56) from the floor and 23% (3-of-13) from beyond the three-point line. The Tritons, on the other hand, shot 52% (22-of-42) from the floor, and 58% (7-of-12) from downtown. Ironically enough, the Sailfish won the battle of the boards, 35-33.

The Palm Beach Atlantic season finale is on the road Wednesday night at Flagler College starting at 7 P.M.
