No. 6-Ranked Rollins College Too Much for PBA Men's Tennis

WINTER PARK, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team still seeks their first victory of the season after battling a tough Rollins College squad in Winter Park on Saturday. The two NCAA South Region foes squared off in the early-afternoon with the No. 6-ranked Tars (ITA) sweeping their way to a 9-0 win over the Sailfish.

Rollins improves to 2-3 on the young season while Palm Beach Atlantic drops to 0-6.

Mark Heimberger nearly pulled off the upset at No. 1-singles with the Mexico City, Mexico native forcing three sets versus Will Kwok. In the end Kwok tallied the victory by the scores of 6-7 (0-7), 6-4, 10-4.

No other singles matches went beyond two sets as the Tars swept through.

The Fish will have another tough opponent next on the docket as they will travel to Lynn University in Boca Raton on Tuesday, Feb. 19 for a showdown with the Knights at 5 pm.
